Seeking to put God’s love into action, Habitat for Humanity brings people together to build homes, communities and hope. We  encourage applicants with inadequate housing who have been unable to pursue homeownership by traditional means.  We seek out individuals and families who are serious about their goals in becoming homeowners, maintaining their property, and partnering with Habitat for Humanity.

Applying:  Anyone interested in becoming a Habitat for Humanity of Montezuma County homeowner is welcome to call 565-8312 for more information about our programs.  We will advertise on FaceBook and in the local news when we are actively accepting homeowner applications. Applicants must be living in Montezuma County for 1 year and have income that falls within the designated ranges, below.

Criteria for Selection:

  • Need for adequate housing
  • Ability to make consistent mortgage payments
  • Willingness to partner with Habitat for Humanity

2017 Income Guidelines: The income guidelines for homeowner applicants are between 30% and 60% of the average median income for our area.
